100% Sagrantino, from vines in the Pietrauta area of Montefalco. Grown in medium soil, limestone-clay and gravel. Hand harvested careful selection of clusters in early August. Fermentation on the skins. Aged 12-18 months in barrels and a minimum of 12 months in bottle.
