Aromas of fresh pink grapefruit, sweet citrus and hay burst with freshness on the nose. Cool melon tones balance pink grapefruit on the palate, accented by ripe acidity and a subtle mineral citrus finish.
PALATE : Green apple, candied orange peel, and baking spices anchor a panoply of vineyard flavors. Seamlessly interwoven between each is fresh, bright acidity along with incredible minerality and depth that slowly build texture and weight.
FINISH : The contrast between silky toast and sweet pear highlights an exceedingly rich finish that will only become more supple and dynamic with age.
The palate is medium-full-bodied with fresh acidity and tastes like wet rock, straw, honey, and sea salt.
All fruit was direct pressed and settled before racking to neutral French oak barrels for primary fermentation and aging. Sulfur at bottling is the only addition to the wine.
