This wine is made with 85% Sangiovese and 15% Merlot. The grapes are hand harvested late September to early October. Then they undergo controlled fermentation in stainless-steel tanks and are aged 5 months in bottle.

65% Sangiovese, 20% Merlot, and 15% Sagrantino, from vines in the Pietrauta area of Montefalco. Hand harvested and sorted late September to early October. Controlled fermentation in stainless-steel tanks for 14 days. 13 months in barrique and 14 months in bottle.
Ripe fruits of dark cherry, blackberry, plum and raspberry are complimented by the secondary notes of vanilla and mixed spices. The silky, satin like fruit profile, encompassed by lovely ripe tannins, cascades effortlessly through the palate.

Aromas of black cherries, red ripe raspberries, strawberry and spice (white pepper), join together in a single sensation of olfactory bliss. The mouth is filled with an array of flavors, including black cherry, strawberry, and raspberry with lingering hints of cocoa and toasted oak. Moderate tannins and good acidity leave a pleasing, long-lasting finish. Each juicy sip is more comforting than the last always leaving the palate to want more.
The impeccable Cabernet Franc shines with dark blackberry, savory, slightly-herbaceous notes of lavender, bay laurel, rosemary, and fennel backed by olive and dark chocolate.
