Intense ruby red, bright and deep in colour. Rich, deep aromas of bramble, red autumn fruit with a hint of balsamic and warm spices from fine oak. The palate is fine, complex and long, with balanced tannins and an excellent bright finish.
Canaan is an easy drinking medium bodied red wine with sweet fruit, with notes of black pepper, cherries and plums, low tannins and soft vanilla tones. This is a wine with very few pretensions and is made for immediate consumption.

The 2017 vintage presents fragrant fruit aromas of blackberry, raspberry, currant, and crème de cassis. Notes of cocoa, coffee, dark chocolate, licorice, and sweet cherry pipe tobacco are rounded out with whispers of truffle, toffee, mocha, and menthol. A juicy, fleshy palate offers bright, generous flavors of cherry, cranberry, strawberry, and blueberry tinged with black raspberry and tamarind—all supported by underlying accents of dusty leather, pencil shavings, cigar box, and crushed herbs. An elegantly styled and beautifully structured finish reverberates with focused energy, vibrant berry fruit, and ripe, polished tannins.

Corullón’s combination of generosity and precision confirms not only its special status, but also the superiority of Álvaro’s and Ricardo’s winemaking. The grapes are harvested, sorted, and destemmed by hand. They macerate for 25 days in oak fermentors with hand punch down. Maturation occurs in French oak. It is not fined or filtered before bottling.
