Friday Taste March 14

Wine Tasting 4-7 Friday March 14

A few of the Rock Stars are featured at this Friday’s Wine Tasting.

100% Pinot Noir Failla, a few miles from the Pacific Coast!
This Pinot Noir has warm tones of baking spice, wild sage, balsam, and classic cherry coulis with fine tannins. Failla Pinot Noir is bright and juicy with a berry-filled palate.
Organic and fermented using indigenous yeasts.
The fruit used to make this wine was fermented with native yeast, 30% whole cluster, unfined and unfiltered. This wine is aged eight months in French oak barrels (15% new)

Mont Vert Chocolate BrickA brick of blended Latin American dark & creamy milk chocolate, chocolate-ganache enriched with tangy Vermont chèvre, Singing Cedars Apiaries raw honey, & a whiff of organically grown dried French lavender blossoms, creating a nuanced and balanced spread that hits tasty bottom, middle & top flavor notes on its own, and pairs with so many of your favorite wines, cheeses, beers and condiments for an out-of-this-world taste experience.

Chocolate Block Red from South Africa

Ripe plums and blackberry and attractive whiffs of licorice, violets, cocoa, and mint. The black fruit and perfume of the nose follow through onto a rich, savory palate with flavors of dark cherry, red currant, black olives, and cured meat. Fine-grained, svelte tannins are in perfect balance with the lemony acidity, lending complexity to the mid-palate. The wine is full-bodied with a rich, smooth mouthfeel. The finish is charry and long, with hints of maraschino cherry, pimento olives, and sweet tobacco.
